Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease
Symptoms
This is a condition which usually affects children. It is characterised by an eruption of vesicles on the hands and feet and the oral cavity. It is thought to be secondary to a Coxsackie virus and can be associated with generalised symptoms of fever, malaise, runny nose and diarrhoea.
